Please read these terms carefully before using the Free Staff Training platform. They outline your responsibilities and the rules governing the use of our service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering an account or using Free Staff Training (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use on behalf of yourself and the organization you represent. If you do not agree to all of these terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Free Staff Training provides a platform for organizations to assign, deliver, and track cyber security awareness training and policy acknowledgements for their staff. We provide the software platform and baseline training materials; however, you are ultimately responsible for your own internal compliance requirements.
3. Account Registration & Responsibilities
When you create a company account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information. As an Administrator, you are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your account and password.
- Ensuring that the staff you invite to the platform are authorized to receive training on behalf of your organization.
- Managing your own internal custom policy documents uploaded to the platform.
- Ensuring that all use of the Service under your account complies with applicable laws.
4. Content and Intellectual Property
All training materials, software code, design, text, and graphics provided as part of the Service (excluding any custom policies you upload) are the intellectual property of Free Staff Training and its licensors. You may use these materials solely for the purpose of training your own staff via the platform. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from our content outside of the platform without explicit written permission.
You retain full ownership of any custom policy documents or company-specific data you upload. You grant us a limited license to host and display this content to your invited staff solely to provide the Service.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service in any way that:
- Violates any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
- Involves uploading malicious code, viruses, or harmful data.
- Attempts to reverse engineer, decompile, or interfere with the security and operation of the Service.
- Resells, sublicenses, or otherwise exploits the Service for commercial gain outside of its intended purpose.
6. Limitation of Liability
The training materials provided are for general educational purposes and do not constitute legal or professional security advice. Free Staff Training shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use or inability to use the Service, or from any security breach or data loss suffered by your organization, regardless of whether your staff completed the training.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if you breach any of these Terms. You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting our support team.
8. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms of Use at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you via the email address associated with your account or through a prominent notice on our platform. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
9. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
